Welcome to the M/Y Dolphin Experience! * We will pick you up at your hotel or the airport. * Be ready to board the Dolphin between 2PM and 6PM. Once everyone is onboard, we will begin the ship briefing. * Ship Briefing: Meet the crew! Meet the ship! & setting expectations. * Fill out paper work, get your rental gear if needed. * Our dive team will divide our divers into three groups. * Dinner is served at 7PM. * Coordinate with our dive team to setup your equipment and be ready to DIVE. * We depart soon after everyone is onboard depending on the clearances on the Port Authority and the Coast Guard. * Lights out and please clear the dining room by 10PM. * The smoking deck is available at all times. * The upper deck is closed while sailing. * Happy sleeps!
The Tubbataha Adventure Begins! We have learned the best likelihood to see amazing things is early in the morning. So our goal each day is for divers to be in the water by 6:30AM. We want you to experience late afternoon dives. Our schedule plans for two morning dives and then two afternoon dives to end near sunset. For our first day of diving, our favorite site is Malayan Wreck or Jessie Beazley. As always, dive sites are subject to surface conditions, weather, and currents. Diving on day 3 usually is at the North Atoll. The North Atoll has 3 general areas. The first being at the north end of the North Atoll starting from Terraces around to Shark Airport including Seafan Alley and Washing Machine. The 2nd area is the south end of the North Atoll between Amos Rock and South Park. Usually begins with the South Atoll and we finish the day with a visit to the Ranger Station to enjoy the sunset and sand bar. The South Atoll has 2 primary areas. The north end of the South Atoll includes 3 dive sites: Ko-ok, T-Wreck and Black Rock. Diving continues at either the North or South Atoll depending on conditions. Our last day of Tubbataha diving is usally at Jessie Beazley Reef. The diving at Jessie Beazley is either the west end or east end of the reef. The Dolphin usually arrives in Puerto Princesa before 3AM to accomodate anyone who needs to catch an early flight. We provide transportation to the airport or hotel. If you need a convenient place to wait for your flight in Puerto Princesa we suggest the SM Mall and we'll be happy to take you there. We ask that all divers disembark from the Dolphin by 10:00AM to allow our crew to clean and re-provision the ship for our next group of divers. Our staff will provide you with a check-out invoice covering onboard charges/expenses Before 3:00AM: Arrived in Puerto Princesa Harbor 6:00AM Breakfast! 6:00AM - 10:00AM: Clear invoices and check-out. *Diving will be conducted around the North and South Atolls of Tubbataha reef, where moorings are available, depending on wind and wave conditions. If there are rough waves on the west side, dives will be conducted on the east side, and vice versa in case of bad weather on the east. *Trip insurance is not mandatory; however, it is highly recommended, as it provides financial protection against potential losses resulting from unforeseen events or natural disasters.
