About this liveaboard
Sundari, meaning “beautiful” in Sanskrit, is a newly built 6.5m x 34m phinisi designed for safe & enjoyable dive and snorkel trips in Komodo National Park, home to some of the richest marine biodiversity on the planet. Built traditionally with modern comfort, Sundari accommodates up to 12 divers (or 16 non-divers), with dive groups limited to just 4 divers/guide to ensure safety and personalized attention. The boat features 8 cozy cabins, a dive deck with camera table, spacious common areas, and full safety / emergency equipment, offering a comfortable liveaboard experience. Sundari was crafted by skilled boat builders from Bira, renowned for traditional Indonesian phinisi construction. Operated by a passionate local team including a Managing Director as well as Dive Instructor, Cruise Director, and Divemaster, Sundari combines professional diving expertise with warm Indonesian hospitality. The boat is a partner of Scuba Schools International (SSI), offering internationally recognized dive training, and also collaborates with Divers Alert Network (DAN), a leading diving safety and insurance organization, supporting safe and responsible diving while exploring the waters of Komodo.

Located on the main deck with direct access to the social area, it features a double bed, an additional extra bed, and a private balcony. Each cabin is fitted with air conditioning, ample storage, and an ensuite bathroom with a warm-water shower. Life jackets as emergency equipment are also available in these rooms, enough for all occupants.

Signature Ocean Cabin
Signature Ocean Cabin – Situated on the upper deck, ideal for couples or solo travelers. Each room has a double bed and ensuite bathroom. Guests can book double occupancy or opt for single occupancy at a reasonable rate. Each cabin is fitted with air conditioning, ample storage, and an ensuite bathroom with a warm-water shower. Life jackets as emergency equipment are also available in these rooms, enough for all occupants.
